The artwork for "Begin" is inspired by a Post-Apocalyptic fiction character that I am working on. The story starts off with a boy that lives in a world where most of the population has been wiped out by biological and nuclear warfare. A Corporation rules the city where the Youth are given designated positions in society after graduating from college to help build on to the new society. The citizens have no choice but to follow the system integrated for them from the corporation as not obeying will be considered treason. There is no life beyond the orange cloud that surrounds the outskirts of the city as the clouds are considered highly radiated and any living thing that passes through it will combust into oblivion.
Living life as a Robotics Technician, the boy works in a poorly ventilated warehouse among other technicians, fixing robot assistants for the elderly day in and day out. Even though he should feel happy, there is a weird feeling of emptiness that he can not explain. His adventure starts when he discovers something on his lunch break at work, which leads him to learning a terrifying fact that would change his life forever. This picture is a key event to his chapter. I think of this EP as a boy in boat exploring the world of uncertainty, driven by hope and a heart full of compassion which is why I think our lives intertwine with this image.
